The head of the Rosguards convinced a man who threatened to blow up a car in Moscow to surrender to the police.

MOSCOW, October 3. / Tass /. The head of the Rosguards, Viktor Zolotov, personally came to a meeting with a man who threatened to blow up a car on Vasilyevsky slope in Moscow and persuaded him to surrender to the police. This was reported by TASS by the ex-adviser to the director of the Russian Guard, State Duma deputy Alexander Khinshtein.
According to him, DPS officers stopped a man and made a remark to him. To this he replied that he had a gas cylinder in his car, which he would explode if he was not organized to meet with the President of the Russian Federation or with the head of the Russian Guard Viktor Zolotov.
“Viktor Vasilyevich was informed about this situation and he made the decision to talk to the man himself. I drove up to the place, got into his car, spoke, reassured, convinced him to give up. In the car really was a gas cylinder.Together they got out of the car, took out a balloon from there, and General Zolotov personally gave the car keys to FSO representatives, after which the man was detained, ”said Khinshtein.
According to him, the owner of the car turned out to be an entrepreneur from Primorsky Krai, he had problems in business. “He is a local entrepreneur, he has some problems, but they are not related to Rosgvardia. That is, why he demanded a meeting with Viktor Vasilyevich, it is difficult to say. I will note that he had no complaints against Zolotwa and Rosguards, ”concluded Khinshtein.
Earlier, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Moscow told TASS that the city’s police detained a man who threatened to blow up a car on Vasilyevsky Spusk in Moscow, after which he was taken to the Kitai Gorod police station. Currently, the issue of conducting a medical-psychiatric examination of the detainee and initiating a criminal case is being resolved.
