Quality insulation of the facade
It is known that the house is most effectively warmed withthe outside. According to the unshakable rule of construction technology, the vapor permeability of walls should increase from the inside outwards. Therefore, if you begin to warm the facade from the inside of the house, then this will require the actual reconstruction of the walls.
Insulation for the facade
In the facade work mainly foam and mineral wool or various modifications based on these materials are used.Polyfoam, depending on its density, is called differently: expanded polystyrene, polyurethane, styropon. But in the people all these products were, as they were, and remain foam plastic.
The most common is the warming of the facade with mineral wool. Its varieties: "TECHNONICOL", "Isover", "Rockwool", etc. It is produced in rolls and in the form of specialized slabs, which are a more optimal option for the facade insulation, tk. they are much easier to attach to the wall. In addition, the plates do not lose their shape and do not settle.
We mount a heater
Warming of the facade takes place in different ways. There are two most common: using a wooden frame and using dowels (anchors).
If the house is blocky or made of bricks, then special anchors are inserted into the masonry, on which mineral plates are placed. Then they are fixed on the wall with the help of clamps intended for this purpose.
The same actions can be performed with foam. But it is customary to glue it to the surface of the facade and necessarily carry out sealing (reinforcing works). That is, we attach steel mesh over the layers and plaster the building over it.
For houses made of timber, frame or structuresfrom the foam blocks it is better to use mineral wool as a heater. If the building is erected from slag blocks or bricks, then it is most profitable to use foam plastic in the technology of a "wet" facade, i.e. with the use of adhesive solutions.
If the wall is made of wood, the facade insulation should beto begin with the construction of a wooden crate of such a kind that a plate of mineral wool or foam is placed in the interstitial space. Then, according to the built frame, facing works are done.
The maximum effect when the facade is insulatedMW can be obtained if the layer is at least 25 cm. It should be noted that despite its popularity, it has one significant drawback - hydrophobicity. Saturation of a heater with water is fraught with various troubles: from an unfavorable microclimate to the appearance of fungus and mold.
Polyfoam is better to take such that several layers are formed thinner than one, but the required thickness.
The main rule of thermal insulation of the facade: the layers are stacked in an overlap so that each subsequent overlaps the joints in the previous one.
There are also such products, which are also facing material. For example, fiber-cement slabs, painted on one side, three-layer thermopanels, sandwich panels.
Recently, more and more mountedventilated facades. They are convenient in that such a scheme of insulation does not require plastering of walls or carrying out other "wet" works. For this reason, ventilated facades can be erected in the winter season.
Thus, the insulation of the façade with one's own hands is not such a difficult matter. The main thing is to observe the technology of application of the material you choose.
