The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - Nehrim: On the Edge of Fate

The Germans know how to make RPGs. Of the latter, we can recall the very interesting and complex Drakensang, from the simpler and more fun ones - the Risen series, from the old ones, we can recall the Gothic of three parts, made by Piranha in the genre. Once again, the Germans (in this particular case, the SureAI mod-maker group) proved that they understand role-playing games, and moreover, that from a strange and controversial project (Oblivion, but we won’t poke a finger at this console division?) can do something that can be called just candy.
So. Nerim is a continent country. The universe is separate from Tamriel, the races are different, and the literary part of the mod has no relation to the literary part of the Ancient Scrolls.
The civil war of the north with the south for independence is torn apart. Moreover, the situation with the magical races adds fuel to the fire: magicians (their relics) are all afraid, hate and despise, and magic is forbidden. Racism, cannibalism, slaughter, slavery, economic and social crisis, and other funny side effects of civil war are flourishing in the country.
You play the role of the Gifted One - a human / human being gifted with magical powers. Although it practically does not affect the attitude of the world towards you (except for the ban on magic, because of which you will be hated and killed, but you don’t have to know everything about you, will you?), And therefore you will be punished for being careless on whom you look askance. While you, of course, do not pump, but more on that below. Your goal is unclear and vague, and only by the middle of the game will it take on a more or less visible shape.
The first thing you notice is the graphics. The developers tried to transform the ugly Oblivion, what they did - outwardly the game began to look better every five. Sharper textures, improved shaders, more polygons, games with light, and other customizable magnificence not only optimize the game for a huge variety of iron, but also make the oily, illuminated yellow image of the Oblivion look realistic. More or less.
Speaking about the gameplay, it is impossible not to mention the increased complexity. Think about it: before, you were equal with your opponent, and therefore you didn’t bring problems of clogging ghosts, liches and other creatures.Immediately the world was divided into zones, in each of which its own interval of levels (as in the IMO). Now there is no auto-leveling in the game: everything and the whole level is pre-installed, therefore you will no longer see homeless people in mithril armor (which is not here) or a bandit in glass armor. The pumping system has also changed: in order to raise the level, you need to gain experience that you spend with teachers on improving skills (standard, Oblivion, with old pumping, but slow). Moreover, now there are new skills with which you can tear your teeth, claws, etc. from the corpses of animals - they learn with the help of books for experience points. In general, the role-playing system in some places resembles the same Gothic.
The system of enchanting objects has also changed: now you need to collect special pebbles, many of which bear any enchantment, fire damage, for example. Stones have a different level and quality, on which their strength and charge depends.
Now you need to insert such stones in things to improve them. The spell casting system was abolished. The spells themselves are now divided according to their strength (usual purchased ones) or according to their rank (runes), which your skill should correspond to,so you can use them.
As already mentioned, you can now hunt and get a non-illusory profit from the skins, teeth, hearts and other things. The developers decided to expand these third-party gameplay elements. Now you can cook and forge weapons with armor. Like in Skyrimwhich came out later, is not it?
Summarizing all the above, it is worth noting a few things. First, the game has grown in terms of system requirements, and now on a piece of iron that easily pulled the original Oblivion, it can walk with a heavy creak. Secondly, the mod is very free-flipped, and at the very beginning your goals are not completely obvious, and therefore you will wander around the world for some of the time, exploring it, completing quests and clearing dungeons (and only this way you will find really cool things). Finally, the last and most important thing: the modification is very tight, and it can be difficult to break away to the very end.

1. Swing, and patch on.
2. Install the game.
3. Install the mod (NehrimInstall_1.0.7.5_RU)
4. We roll the patch into the folder with the installed mod. (NehrimUpdate_1.0.8.1_RU)
5. We launch the game through the launcher, set up, close, launch the mod launcher, data files, put all the checkboxes on, close, go to the settings, set up, save, close the launcher.
6. Run through the launcher.
ATTENTION: last post postedRussifiedversion of the modification. The last version in general is 1.5. *. *, But there is no Russification. But there are German, Japanese, Chinese andenglishversion. If you have version 1.5. *. * With the English fixer, please share. There was added a huge amount of goodies, like settling in New Town to add a line of quests about the sun and his armor.
